This page explains what happens to your information when you use this site. It is short because the site does very little with it.
Who we are
WEGI is a custom software studio operating from Israel. This site is wegi.co.il. If you need to reach a person about anything on this page, the contact address is at the bottom.
What we collect
What you fill in on the contact form: how to reach you, where the business is and what it does, and your answers to what it asks about how you work today and what you need. Some of it you type and some you pick from a list, and we add nothing to it from anywhere else. We also record which language you were reading the site in, so we can reply in it.
How the site is used — scrolling, taps, clicks and the pages visited — recorded through Microsoft Clarity, described below. What you type into the contact form is never part of it.
There is nothing to sign up for and no account to create.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, as every web server does.
Why we collect it
To read your message and reply to it. That is the only purpose of what the contact form collects.
To see how the site is used and what in it interests people, so we can improve it.
We do not send marketing email, and we do not sell, rent, or pass your details to anyone for their own use.
Who handles it for us
Netlify hosts the site and serves every page.
Resend delivers your contact form message to us as email.
Google receives that email, because our inbox is Gmail.
Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits. It sets no cookies and does not build a profile of you.
Sentry records technical details when something fails on our server, so we can fix it. It runs only on the server, and is configured not to attach personal information to those reports.
Each of these is a supplier we use to run the site. None of them receives your details to use for their own purposes.
Microsoft Clarity records how the site is used, as replays and heatmaps: scrolling, taps, clicks and the pages visited. It hides numbers, email addresses and anything typed, and the contact form entirely. Microsoft uses your IP address to estimate which country you are in, keeps the data in its Azure cloud, and can also use it as its own privacy statement describes.
Cookies and browser storage
One cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, remembers whether you chose English or Hebrew.
Your light or dark theme preference is kept in your browser's local storage and is never sent to us.
While you are filling in the contact form, your answers are kept in your own browser so a reload or an interruption does not lose them. They are cleared when you send and when you close the tab, and they never reach us until you press send.
Microsoft Clarity sets two cookies of its own: _clck, kept for a year, which recognises a returning visitor, and _clsk, kept for a day, which joins the pages of one visit into one recording. It also keeps one value, _cltk, in the browser's storage for the tab until the tab is closed. Nothing is stored for advertising, and on a device set to a European time zone Clarity stores none of this.
Using the site means agreeing to this. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, the site does not run Clarity at all, and blocking cookies for this site stops the two cookies. The site works the same either way.
How long we keep it
Your message stays in our inbox for as long as it is useful for the conversation and our records. If you ask us to delete it, we will, and we will tell you once it is done.
Microsoft Clarity keeps recordings for 30 days, and heatmaps, a random sample of recordings and any recording we save for up to 9 months.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the address below and we will respond.
If you are not satisfied with how we handled your request, you can complain to the relevant data protection authority.
Changes to this page
If we start collecting something new, we will change this page and update the date at the top.
